vs 3… this stirs the thought of what human being perceive as riches and treasures vs what God defines them as. Perhaps one of our major challenges is simply our appetites have been trained to desire that which has little value in the Kingdom?

19 And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.
This is so so sad. There is so much confusion that many will be unable to perceive the yoke of bondage broken and lament the loss of their taskmasters so passionately. The true prison is the mind and the truths or falsehoods we believe and internalize.
20 Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.
21 And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.
22 And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee;
23 And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.
24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.
It is encouraging to know there is a place to express satisfaction in justice being served and that we have an outlet for the emotion of hate that wells us. God hates evil. It is totally appropriate to hate evil, to hate the puppet master pulling the strings of men and women made in God’s image.

As the betrothed of Christ, this should be the time of greatest anticipation and joy in the coming wedding feast and consumation of the marriage to the Lamb.

All these horses of revelation…. I am somewhat at a loss still to understand their significance and exactly when in the timelines the antichrist makes his appearance. In these verses, we see His demise. Does anyone understand where this fits in the timeline of the seals, trumpets and bowls?

I was just thinking this.. and why “must” the dragon be released once more. So much in these passages go right over my head. Thank you Lord that You are opening up the verses to me in the measure I can handle and in the perfect timing.
