This was my question after studying the days of Creation with my boys. This article has started some interesting gears turning in my head.

Why is this so interesting? In the New Testament, Jesus “finished” the work He came to do. So many are confused by this verse as so much of what is finished is seemingly missing from the present day picture. But, if we begin to see the difference between made (created but not yet in physical existence) and formed (created and given form that we can sense, see, touch etc), and we recognize that we are God’s voice know to speak form (note I say God’s voice not our own, using His Word) into being. For example, when I say “Be healed” , I am not the source of the healing, but am simply calling in form to the finished work that Jesus has already done and accomplished… My understanding isn’t fully arrived yet, but this is bringing greater understanding to the inheritance we already have in Christ and how to see it fully manifest in our lives. As always, be Berean and check out every verse for yourself. I will be checking out my Concordance to study these verses out more fully.
