Heavenly Father, Sweet Lord,   Mighty Redeemer,

Please forgive my hardness of heart and renew my attitude that I would welcome and appreciate the daily warnings my faithful brothers and sisters bring to me each day.  Help me to constantly remember the pull and temptation to reject your Word and your truth.

In Jesus precious, holy, mighty, awesome name.

Isaiah 30:8-11

“Now write this on a sign for the people,
write this on a scroll,
so that for the days to come
this will be a witness forever.
⁹ These people are like children who lie and refuse to obey;
they refuse to listen to the Lord’s teachings.
¹⁰ They tell the seers,
“Don’t see any more visions!”
They say to the prophets,
“Don’t tell us the truth!
Say things that will make us feel good;
see only good things for us.
¹¹ Stop blocking our path.
Get out of our way.
Stop telling us
about God, the Holy One of Israel.”

Hebrews 3: 7-14

 “That is why the Holy Spirit says,  “Today when you hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts as Israel did when they rebelled, when they tested me in the wilderness. There your ancestors tested and tried my patience, even though they saw my miracles for forty years. So I was angry with them, and I said, ‘Their hearts always turn away from me.   They refuse to do what I tell them.’ So in my anger I took an oath:     ‘They will never enter my place of rest.’”Be careful then, dear brothers and sisters. Make sure that your own hearts are not evil and unbelieving, turning you away from the living God. You must warn each other every day, while it is still “today,” so that none of you will be deceived by sin and hardened against God. For if we are faithful to the end, trusting God just as firmly as when we first believed, we will share in all that belongs to Christ.”
